Biography
Karwan Karim was born in the city of Ranya, located in the Iraqi region of Kurdistan, in 1989. Upon graduating from high school, Karwan began work in the fields of visual media and journalism.
He was a designer for Zhulein magazine, and then became a manager of the Karama Group (producing short films).
He is a volunteer member of Autism Group’s Kurdistan Office of Sulaymaniyah – Ranya Branch, and is also a member of the Federal Association of German Press Photographers (BDP).
